We need dedicated individuals and companies who are interesting in volunteering their most valuable asset to help support our mission and our kids.
Education & Career Opportunities
“Power Hour” – Provide homework help and tutoring to help guarantee academic success for our members.

Professional Development – Assist our teens with resume building, application completion and interview skills, and ACT/SAT preparation.
Summer Reading Academy – Assist readers with vocabulary words, sight words, and reading fluency to help prevent “Summer Slide.”
Provide an Honor Roll party at a club to celebrate our children’s academic accomplishments.
Character & Leadership Opportunities
Mentor – Partner one-on-one with one of our members to serve as a positive role model and encourager.

Provide a Tour – Arrange for teens to visit and learn about a local business.

Be a Speaker – Speak to our members about your career path, and the drive and dedication it took to achieve your goals.

Youth of the Month Program – Serve as a judge for one hour, one day each month for our Youth of the Month Program.
Sports, Fitness, & Recreation Opportunities
Games Room – Get to know the kids while having fun playing table, card, board, and video games.
Gym Time – Be active and get fit by participating in physical activities during gym rotations.
Teach a Fitness Class – Share your gift of dance, gymnastics, martial arts, etc. with our kids.
Organized Sports – Sign up to be a coach, assistant coach, team manager, or booster club leader for our organized sports leagues (basketball, soccer, baseball).

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas have a 3-step volunteer process to ensure the safety of our kids.

Step 1: Volunteer Application - Interested volunteers can complete the online volunteer application below.
Step 2: Background Check - Our HR Director will use the completed volunteer application to run a background check. Results may take up to a few days.
Step 3: Volunteer Orientation - Volunteers are then asked to attend a 20-minute volunteer orientation where they receive the volunteer handbook, select their Club, and learn volunteer procedures.
